Electrical Permits & Zoning Approvals
The Village of Sprague requires that all construction within the 1 mile zoning radius of the Village's corporate limits get approval from the Board of Trustees and/or the Planning Commission prior to any work starting.
The Board of Trustees are responsible for determining:
- All Village ordinances are adhered to
- Set-back requirements are met or variance is needed
- All zoning designations meet land use requirements
- Reviewing building plans
- Working directly with the Planning and Zoning Commission
If electrical work is being conducted, the resident must get a permit and inspection from Lancaster County. Please check the County's website for additional details and how to acquire a permit.
